📌 The Basics:

Typing certain “tags” in a sign will modify any text follows it. For example, if we insert a tag such as <#FFF>, all the text after <#FFF> **will become white. So One <#fff> Two Three will become:

Multiple tags can work together, so adding a tag such as <size=4>
One <#fff><size=4> Two Three will become:

If you type a second tag of the same type, it will override the previous tag. So
One<#FFF> Two <#FC7> Three will become:

You can mix & match 20+ tags to customize signs however you like!

Remembering & typing all those tags can be tedious, so I've compiled my favorite tags on this site. Find the tag you like, click “copy”, and paste it in your game using ctrl + v.
Note: Xbox users will still have to type everything 😕
💡Other Tips:

Unmodded signs have a 50 character limit, so shorter tags provide more flexibility.

You can overlap signs to make them blend together nicely. (See image below)

(Not all emoji will work well; so I suggest using my site to find the best.)

(PC-Only) A mod like gizmo can be useful for rotating signs in interesting ways.
